Michelle Brass - Co-Founder, Naturopath & Wellness Practitioner
With over 25 years of experience in the natural health industry, Michelle has dedicated her life to helping others embrace the therapeutic benefits of nature. Throughout her time as a health practitioner, she has used and recommended countless traditional and conventional treatments to her clients - as she believes an integrative approach to health and wellness is very important. Michelle is passionate about using and promoting essential oils and, in particular, Kunzea Oil, as she has seen them help thousands of people over the years. She knows that using essential oils in your daily life can help bring balance to the mind, body and soul. She is constantly trialling and testing new products with her loyal clients. Jade McKenzie - General Manager
Since Jade joined the team, Zea has grown from strength to strength. Smart strategy, big picture thinking and analysing numbers are the things she loves doing the most. With a background in business development, entrepreneurialism and coaching in the corporate, not for profit and entrepreneurial sectors, Jade brings with her over a decade of experience in GM and Founder roles. Jade’s passions include mentoring women in business, developing leadership in the workplace and empowering entrepreneurs to create impactful and sustainable businesses.
Beck Hall - National Wholesale Manager
Beck has joined the Zea Team with extensive experience in the sales industry, in particular, the organic and health product sector. Regularly travelling between Tasmania and Queensland, Beck is assisting with the expansion of Zea into more retail stores throughout Australia. Building relationships is her superpower and from your initial enquiry to making sure your store is full stocked and ready to go, she's got you covered. When Beck is not taking care of our amazing stockists, she runs incredible yoga retreats across Australia and South East Asia.
Aleks Nedeljkovic - Operations Manager
Our newest team member is Operations Manager, Aleksandra Nedeljkovic. For close to a decade, Aleks has worked in strategic and leadership roles across the social enterprise, education, health and technology sectors. With creative problem solving and a thirst for knowledge sitting at the heart of how she works, Aleks is a powerhouse in ensuring that our full product range is always available for our loyal customers at the highest quality. Aleks’ mission is to lead our community towards a new economy, where business plays a major part in positive social impact, and the business benefits of doing good are embraced.
Danica Ratte - Marketing & eCommerce Manager
As our Marketing & eCommerce Manager, Danica Ratte takes care of helping bring Zea Relief to the online world. With a decade of experience in marketing across a range of industries, including PR, HR, FMCG and Communications, she is the gal helping us get in front of all the people who need our products. With her friendly smile, fast fingers and smart strategy, Danica is the one helping us regularly communicate with our beautiful Zea Family. When Danica is not working at Zea, you can find her and her partner Fab camping, exploring and soaking up mother nature.
Hamish Brass - Customer Success Manager (and unofficial company clown)
The family funny guy and all-round great Aussie bloke, has quickly found his feet on the Zea Team as our Customer Success Manager. Customers love getting their queries answered by him, with his fast and kind responses. Going above and beyond the status quo is Hamish’s speciality and our regulars are often seen popping into the expos we attend across the country just to have a good yarn with him. With a passion for healthy living, Hamish has a love for cooking healthy, nutritious food, and will play a key role in bringing the Zea Gourmet Range to life in the future.
Ruwi de Silva - Head of Design
Ruwi de Silva is our talented in-house graphic designer who brings our Zea visuals to life. From product labels to expo backdrops to in-store materials, Ruwi takes care of it all! With a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design with Honours and over 10 years design experience working for both large global organisations and small local businesses, Ruwi provides authentic originality to effectively capture the essence of Zea.
Rehj Kwan - Adminisatration Assistant
As our Administration Assistant, Rehj helps the team keep on top of their project based tasks and reporting. With her friendly smile and can-do attitude, she is a loyal and dedicated team member who has been with Zea since the beginning. Helping us with everything from research to reports to social media and everything in between, Rehj has extensive experience in goal oriented tasks and has the ability to achieve set targets within tight deadlines. When not working with Zea, you can find Rehj with her husband Marvin and their fur kids enjoying the sunshine and outdoors.
Jacinda Brass - PT Instructor and Customer Service Representative
A qualified Physical Training Instructor, Jacinda is the newest family member to join the Zea Team. With such a huge passion for health and wellness, she is the perfect person to assist our customers with their queries about our products. Her love for helping people stay active and healthy is going to be her greatest asset as she helps bring the Zea Active Sports Range to life in late 2020.
In Memory of...
Simon Brass, Co-Founder (Deceased)
With a background in horticulture and landscaping, Simon had an extensive understanding of and knowledge of native Australian flora. Sadly, Simon passed away in August 2016. He had a passion and love for the Tasmanian Kunzea ambigua plant and the Zea Relief Products. Simon will always be fondly remembered for the remarkable impact he had on getting Zea Relief to where it is today.
