Kunzea is a Tasmanian native with a clean, fresh, invigorating aroma. It is steam distilled and known for its therapeutic uses and benefits.
If you have been following us for a while, you would know that we are huge proponents of Australian Kunzea Oil - and for good reason! This Australian Native is commonly touted ‘Tasmania’s Best-Kept Natural Secret’ and it is the signature essential oil in our Zea Relief Kunzea Product Range.
Kunzea is endemic to Australia and primarily grows in North-East Tasmania. It is steam distilled from the Kunzea ambigua plant that is a member of Myrtaceae (or Myrtle Family).
Aromatically, Kunzea Oil has a pleasant scent with clean, fresh, invigorating undertones. The aroma is often compared to the scent of the Australian Bush.
Therapeutically, Kunzea may have even more beneficial properties than its better-known cousin Tea Tree. In addition, it has a much milder sensation when applied to the skin. Kunzea Oil may also help to reduce pain and relieve inflammation. To learn more about its therapeutic benefits, read our blog Benefits of Australian Kunzea Essential Oil.
If you haven’t used before, we strongly encourage you to give this remarkable essential oil a try.
Kunzea is a versatile essential oil that blends particularly well with Australian Natives such as Eucalyptus, Lemon Myrtle, Fragonia, Sandalwood and Rosalina.
Kunzea is a key ingredient in two of our essential oil blends:
Australian Kunzea Essential Oil is best used in an aroma diffuser, bath, massage oil, potpourri or room deodoriser. As with any essential oil, you should be cautious when applying Kunzea directly to the skin.
The pure essential oil is most commonly used to treat small wounds, minor burns, and fungal infections. Inhalation may relieve sinus pain and anxiety.
For those looking to relieve painful joints, muscles or skin inflammation, we would recommend trying one of the other products in our Australian Kunzea Range - all of which contain the natural benefits of Kunzea Oil.
Australian Kunzea Essential Oil has a unique organic composition, with a high content of important sesquiterpene compounds. A typical analysis of the major components is as follows:
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Non-toxic and non-irritant. Store below 30°C in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If ailment persists seek medical advice.
These safety guidelines are not a complete safety reference for the proper use of essential oils. When in doubt, consult your physician and/or a qualified and trained aromatherapy practitioner.

I am so happy with this cream for my arthritis in my hands. I started using this cream a few months ago & it really loosens up my arthritic joints & relieves the pain! I sent a tube to my Mum also & she uses it all the time for relief from arthritis in her hands. Fantastic product!

Relief , Relief, Relief
Ordered the oil and balm. Combining both on knee and elbow. Not saying instant relief but massaging the product in the spots, one can feel it working within a couple of hours. Have recommended to family in Sydney and to my Masseur here in Hervey Bay.
Thoroughly recommend to give it a go and see for yourselves. Not a massive cost experimentation, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised on the results.
Ordering is easy and delivery is great.....just go for it.....

Kunzea Essential oil 👌
Have been using in my diffuser. Love the aroma, very natural as promised. Keeps my unit smelling fresh and clean. Query on the effect to the air, is it possible the ingredients could cause it to seem dry. Not a complaint just wondering if I'm overdoing it as my throat feels like it dries out when my diffuser is operating.

Thank you Zea family
The Kunzea oil is amazing, I went through the small bottle pretty fast as i cope with it fine on my skin. I do five drops down the centre of my leg from mid shin down to my toes, then I rub each foot against each other, this really helps with falling asleep and sleeping well, less aches and no restless legs tremors. I still have hot soles of my feet but I’ll keep trying your products to see what can help with that.
The big bottle has the same stopper as the small one so it applies to the skin in the same way. Keep your small bottle as you can refill it from the big bottle, just be careful with your precious oils.
Martha
P.s. congrats on the awards💞
That is amazing Martha! So glad you find it helps. You will have to try our concentrated kunzea massage oil when it is launched in a couple of weeks! I think you will find it even better :)
